An unique destination situated by the Tenetti stream offers its guests an unforgettable vacation in a beautiful and peaceful environment. Holiday apartment Jokiniitty 2 was built at the end of an old barn in 1957, and was renovated into living space in 2005.
Facilities are on two floors, and there is everything you need for spending a comfortable vacation. On the ground floor, there is a kitchenette/living area with a dining table for four people. The windows offer a view of the coastal meadow and the fell landscapes of Vuokatti. The living area also has a sofa bed for two people and a separate WC with access from the hall.
On the upper floor, there is a spacious sleeping/living room with a double bed and additional sofa bed for two. On the upper floor, there is also utility room/shower/WC. In addition, the apartment also has a covered/glazed balcony with a wonderful view of the beach.
It is about 150 meters to the river Tenetti, where visitors can relax on the pier, enjoy the atmosphere of the campfire or bathe in the wood-heated beach sauna, however, the use of the sauna must be agreed upon separately with the owner. It should be noted that the holiday apartment itself does not have a sauna. The covered cooking area and the rowing boat are also shared by visitors, so you can enjoy your vacation in a variety of ways. The water level in the river varies according to the seasons.
On the ground floor, there is an air source heat pump for additional heating and cooling. Sotkamo 14 km, Vuokatti Ski Center 8 km, Holiday Club Katinkulta Spa / Golf 7.5 km.
Jokiniitty 1 (11865) is located in the same courtyard, if there is a need for e.g. more spacious accommodation, you can book both properties at the same time, in which case it is excellently suitable for a group or a large family / family gathering, etc.
The holiday destination is recommended for a peaceful vacationing where you can enjoy the beautiful fell landspace of Sotkamo / Vuokatti by the water. All Vuokatti services are approx. 10 minutes drive away.
There are several buildings in the yard area, some in permanent residential use. A road leads through the yard to a nearby cabin. Beautiful idyllic place. The owner of the apartment lives at the other end of the house. Lockable door between the facilities.
The holiday apartment is for your use from 16 on the day of arrival and until 12 on the day of departure, also for the weekend bookings.
Bed linen and final cleaning can be booked for an additional fee.
